If it's just been driven there will be some pressure my mate. If it's cold there shouldn't be. The more modern systems are more efficient as these engines run even hotter for the emissions so they had to up the game for the cooling systems. ๐
A good strong lamp and like kda says, start looking into the V or use a long cable or similar and poke about and look for residue, maybe pink or green crystals๐
Newspaper test - roll up a newspaper and slowly insert into the viscous fan. When cold it should stop the fan turning but as engine warms it should get more resistance and try to shred the newspaper. (Free when cold - locked when hot)

Yep Turns out the new hose was not reinforced, so it expanded then contracted every time. This caused a small hole to get bigger and bigger until it ended in a slit about 21/2 inches long and hence the wheezy noise
Always nice when a fix goes to plan. That happened to me, once! It was about 10 years ago, the windscreen washer stopped working.. i topped up the fluid and it started working again!! ๐ฅณ
No power going up hills and slopes and a whooshing noise coming from turbo. Outlet hose had split. New hose fitted and full boost now back. :vb-bouncy2: ๐ ๐
