Could you not get the engine mounts from the doner motor & add flat metal to bolt these on?
Measure from the gearbox mounts forward to see where these need mounting.
Iv always done my chopping this way.
Bit of an update to this, my 110 (red) now as a station wagon is perfuming flawlessly as expected. I still prefer the hard top body but this is the sacrifices you make by having children. There has been more times that I have had to use the...
A friend spent a fair amount on some new wheels for his Mustang, while the insurance company were happy to cover them they would only payout for original spec wheels. In reality the original spec wheels would probably be more expensive with...
I'm sorry I didn't read your full post iv no idea about your hardships as I turn on my heated seats, steering wheel and climate control when I feel a slight chill.
I've seen the videos of Russians in Yakutsk, Siberia dealing with the cold with their vehicles and it's a hell of a faff. Some even leave the cars parked up and running 24/7.
That's the problem, you're effectively dealing with a computer nowadays and not a person.
l had a long discussion with AF about the side steps on my 2005 Defender, the girl just didn't know what they were. When the policy came through it stated...
I have a 3.5 EFI & employed a remote amp from PS that failed after a month. Not impressed by the company's insistence in replacing the item rather than agreeing to a refund. I did some research & purchased a Lucas (yes I know ..) which exhibited...

Been doing little stuff while I’ve not had a chance to get gas. Also been doing bits on pig.
So much corrosion was on rear quarter. I dug it all out, then epoxy primered, then filler, then etched the bare stuff then dolphin glaze.
Stripped rear...
my daughter had that argument with Hastings Direct ... she been declined insurance because she had an anti-cat theft device fitted and they didn't believe that it didn't boost performance ...:eek:
Well it just goes to show that you can’t cover every eventuality. Parked in Bayeux this morning and came back to find that some yob had attempted to wrench off my snorkel. They had managed to detach it from the A post and it was hanging loose...
Cornwall I think.
I know it's quite interesting to compare prices but rather pointless at the same time as so many variations between people circumstances.
For us Lancaster were also not competitive.
Adrian Flux, in the past, we're actually one...
Do they not start in the "locked" position then go lose shortly after?
I thought in general they usually fail in the lose position.
Sorry for the crap technical terms, engine bay looks proper tidy.
What brand rad did you buy in the end?
