I have to keep mine at motorway height for towing or the little trailer runs on 2 of it's 4 wheels. Likewise at standard height, the caravan is nose up, not good for stability.
More an observation really...
Like Datatek I tend to keep my EAS locked. Unlike D I have it locked at Standard height as I tow a lot and have Arnott 3 springs. It appears the only setting which doesn't get overridden at sone speed is Highway /...
Resistance decreases as temperature rises? Counter-intuitive to me given most things conduct better as temperature drops (think superconductors).
So his low temperature could be it breaking up inside. Or bad connector?
Weird. I assume (dangerous!) that lower temperature is lower resistance? Smaller resistance then higher voltage and current? So too much current flowing through it? Shorting out somewhere?
Replaced connector on heater core sensor. Old one was rather corroded where the copper wires were crimped. Now HEVAC says correct remp instead of -8deg !!
Comment probably applies to any modern car, all disposable just that some cost more than others.
LR lost the plot decades ago, but to be fair they have to design/build what the market demands in order to stay in business.
Q. if JLR built a...
As Datatek has said many times the needle on the dash is controlled by the BECM and is not a linear movement. It goes to the middle rather quickly, sits there as long as the temperature is within normal operating limits and then when it goes...
I'm pretty sure that Nanocom will read both sensors, just not in the same screen. EDC temperature in the engine module, gauge sensor in the BECM. Just because you have replaced the EDC sensor #10 in the drawing, doesn't mean the replacement is...
There's only one Adaptive Values Reset in Nanocom for either GEMS or Thor. (Can't remember which you have) No option to reset MAF, O2, etc separately because the ECU learns using all of the sensors together.
Have you also checked the O2...
Two things I thought I’d mention. Injectors are slightly different depending on MY. Think it changes with EGR so if you have that. Particularly 4th injector as connectors different and not ideal to butcher a new one.
Other thing is if you read...
Beru gets my vote. I think they run them a bit over voltage but they're robust enough to take it. Makes quite a difference. Put mine in years ago and they're still like new - and that's running a hot-start fix that forces the glows on every time...
Disconnect each wire on the plugs and do a resistance check on each glowplug, they should be between 0.9 ohm and 1.2 ohm.
Any one or two plugs different, change them all for beru or bosch. 👍
Also cycle the key and check for voltage at one of the...
It bolts somewhere yeah, but it was tight. Problem was there was just half an o ring in place. Cheap chinese one out of a set saved the day. If it starts leaking again it will get replaced with a viton, although hard to source here.
Are you sure its the injector leaking and not the leak off rubber pipes also the no 4 injector is expensive mght be an idea to add some injector cleaner to the fuel.
Pump comes off easily enough but that's jumping the gun IMO. You need to prove the pump is the source of the noise first, a mechanics stethoscope would help. If it is the pump that's noisy, try an oil change first.
