Yer the problem is I might have to have a few of the shims and they wont deform so rather than cut them out I just order 8 off ebay.

Totally typical of Britpart to give only 8 rubber grommets for 16 freaking bolts, I swear I will Never buy Britpart again, honest!

Yer exactly they dont have the holes to accommodate the outside of the retaining nut clip on the door pillar. Sadly I cant send them back as I bought them a while ago, I bought some Bearmach ones today off ebay so hopefully they will fix the problem

The problem is the retaining nut sits in the pillar so that half of it, the clip on the outer side, sticks out. The plastic shims with the squares cutout allow for this outer clip part of the retaining nut to sit inside the shim. Thus not stoping the hinge from sitting proud against the surface...

How many rubber rings did you have? I have 16 bolts only 8 rings!

I knew I should have bought the Bearmach ones but these were cheaper:-( You see in the picture the Bearmach ones have the squares cut out of the plastic shims, which these ****part ones do not?

Also the provided plastic spacers don't have the cut out for the retaining nut! So they fit flush against the Piller. See pics have I been sold another dummy or am I being one?

I got some.new hinges but there are no instructions even thou it says there are, gotta love Britpart. Anyone tell me what to do with black rubber rings? I am guessing they go on the outside, I only have 8 rings but there are 16 bolts. Thanks

I am need of the small windows on the back as I have found loads of melted pits on the glass from mig weld splatter on mine:-(

With the roof off wondering if I should put a removal bar in. Anyone have an opinion? Anyone used the Bearmarch one it has different fixing to the Britpart one. Copied from the performance protection one which costs £300!

I removed my back door skin as the paint was bubbling and found lots of white powder under it. Can I clean it up and fill any surface pitting and reuse it or is it basically infected with rot now? I am going to put a barrier to stop the dissimilar metal reaction.

Yer in theory it shouldn't be leaking, I looks it has been coming in from the door latch not being sealed properly. Just thinking maybe adding the drain will help if it happens again.
