OK, it's LVF100400 (seems to be specifically for Bosch). I'll order it now. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks!

P38A Oil loss at the engine

OK, I found the video that goes with the RAVE description. It doesn't look complicated. It starts at 4:18. I'll tackle that first. I wanted to change the oil sooner anyway because of the ‘sludge’. Now I'll look for the right seal.

OK, thank you. I'll clean everything thoroughly again tomorrow, really thoroughly! And then I'll keep an eye on it. At this point, I have a question: where can I get this ‘RAVE’? Is it an app? /Software? Thanks.

...Good evening everyone, that doesn't look good. I cleaned everything and now it looks like this? Is it complicated to remove the oil pan? I don't have a lift. Thank you!

P38A Oil loss at the engine

Good evening everyone, ...the change was a complete success. Not even a drop is coming out. However, something is now coming out of the screws. Question: can I simply remove the oil pan? So, loosen the screws and remove it (after draining the oil, of course), or is it complicated? I would like...

Two more questions – because I'm interested: - What is that red cable? - I couldn't get any other seal – this one seems to fit, but does anyone have any experience with it? Thanks!

P38A Oil loss at the engine

Thank you. I was able to secure it well with a key for draining oil. After that, everything worked great. That was really great today. I was also able to loosen the screw easily. In case anyone is interested: I bought a universal wrench for this (23 euros). Two M8 50 screws and it was very easy...

P38A Oil loss at the engine

Hello everyone, Unfortunately, I'm stuck. I can't get the 36 mm screw off the fan. Is there a trick to it? The disc turns with it—that's the problem. I tried holding it down with a screwdriver, but that doesn't work properly.

P38A How to remove the rear-view mirror?

...here are 2 more photos of the mirror. i have opened the case. it is glued at the bottom. unfortunately my plan didn't work out. but now i know where the brown spots come from. it is a glued double mirror and on one side it is no longer tight and therefore moisture could get in. Anyway, I'm...

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

...is it the case that if one switch fails, all the others don't work either? that's what puzzles me. how can it be that they all fail at once?

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

...it leaves me no peace. I had a look at the circuit board today. When I assembled it, I was a bit happy, because it looked a bit nasty. Then I cleaned it but unfortunately it still doesn't work. Should I buy a new switch pack?

...from the inside it sticks to the window but from the outside too. there's a thread on the outside. i think it's for the aerial? surely there's a hole in the pane or not? isn't that original? otherwise i'll remove it.
