Original SW in good condition are valuable. Also, a CSW has 4 doors so do you mean a double cab with a small rag top over the loading area? Better looking for a 109” 3 door. The canvas cover and the hood sticks will set you back £500-750 and a folding tailgate £100+ trawl the web for the set up...

Also replaced the rear windows and seal kit.

Did the tappets this aft and refitted the rocker cover.

So the consensus is the vehicle is able to legally display black plates?

Troops, the build date on the V5 is 31 Dec 1979. Can I put black plates on it under the DVLA eligibility faff of 2015?

Rusty or broken reluctor ring would be my guess.

Lucky a garage will take it on. The local garage said no, and a mates mate who works for JRL said £800 on the drive if it goes well. I just did it myself, dead easy.

Plus the hub oil seal ;)
