I have the X Eng big bulky thing. It does its job but is a pain to store when not fitted. I’d opt for the folding version.

I’m leaning towards this as a solution. I have seen S3 with the right hand side cut off.

I can find the S3 steps however because of the tow plate I cannot anchor to the captive nuts. It’s a new crossmember I could fit new rivnuts I suppose.

I need to fit a rear step as I’m using the tow ball to get in and expect I’ll shin myself at some point. I thought I’d buy a S3 rear step but it won’t fit due to the towing plate. I could get the wide step that clamps to the tow hit, or I could get the Wolf step. The problem being neither belong...
