I don't have any manuals, but if you find any i'd be interested in a copy. The LR manual certainly shows how they come apart.
The big problem is rectifying the wear. In my recent and painful experience, the refurb kits available are not really adequate. What is needed is for the carb body to be machined and new bushes fitted for the throttle spindle - amongst other things.
The coast for a complete professional overhaul is about £80 - about the same as a new carb.
However, once completed, the transformation of performance is quite something.
Have you a manual for a Webber? I just bought Series 2a with one and I only know Zeniths.
