I have a 2005 TD5 with all extras at that time. The quiry I have is I am installing front spots to the bull bar surround. On my dash I have one vacant position for a switch which is the push push type. I am wondering before i start striping out dash would this already be pre wired in the lume as all the other positions are taken (heated seats, screens etc). Any info would be grately appreciated.
No Defenders are factory pre-wired for Spotlights/Driving Lights.
The Spot Lights Wiring Harness is part of the Genuine Parts Lamp Kit, or is available separately as an 'Auxiliary Wiring Kit', which includes the switch -

If you're going to just use
YUG000540LNF and make your own loom, be aware that this switch is designed to switch the earth side of a relay and the illumination and 'tell-tale' will not work properly if used any other way.
The Black Connector for
YUG000540LNF should be wired as follows -
Pin 1 - From Relay Earth - Terminal 85
Pin 2 - Live from Dash Illumination (to illuminate Green LED)
Pin 3 - Not Used (but internally connected to Pin 4)
Pin 4 - To Earth
Pin 5 - Live in from Relay output - Terminal 87 (to illuminate Orange 'tell-tale' LED)
I've drawn a diagram showing how it should be wired -
