Firstly, got myself a de-cat pipe for my D2 and today was fitting day, spent 5hrs under her drilling 7 of the bloody 8 cross member bolts out and re-tapping after they sheared/rounded off (even after 3 days of penetrating fluid) :emps1: then took the old pipe off to find the new pipe I ordered (correctly) was for a D1/Rangie AAARRHHHHHHHH at least with its new Stainless cap heads with anti seize it will only take an hour when they send me the correct pipe. If you think a Job's gonna take 2hrs give yourself 6hrs!

Yep, we all learn that eventually :D

Like when I ordered a winch bumper, supposed to be a stright bolt on job for non ac 'fenders and it ended up taking many many hours. The trim beneath the grill needed to be cut so the winch plate part could fit. Bolts would also not span the width of the bumper and the steering guard and the chassis (horizontal ones) so needed to order some new ones of those too! You just never know!

nothings ever easy on a landy!

When it is, you just KNOW something major's gonna go wrong on your next outing to teach you for being smug!
