Hi guys, in trying to figure out what year the bulkhead is on my series Landy. I've looked in all my books and on tinternet but I can't find reference to one that has a rain gulley all the way across it (where the bonnet meets the bulkhead when it's closed - please see pic attached). Any ideas? Cheers. Olly

It just looks like a series 3 bulkhead, my original looked like that (1976) and the galvo one I bought looks the same.

X1 it's a standard series 3 bulkhead. How does your crankshaft breather system work with a K&N filter?

You need to get a parts catalogue and a workshop manual.
Not the most helpful advice, but thanks anyway.

Seeing as none of the books in the picture had a bulkhead like mine I thought it best to all the question and as per usual landyzone users came up trumps!

Sorry that didn't come across correctly. My reason for suggesting this is that the parts catalogue has a detailed diagram of the bonnet. It wasn't intended to be dismissive. You can't wholly always rely on the forum if you are maintaining a landy. My suggestion was based on having the basic information to help!

is the dark green haynes manual in the back of that photo any good? i have the green bible and the blue service and repair haynes manual and sometimes still end up scratching my head in bewilderment!

My mid 1974 has the same long arrangement but couldn't tell you if it was like that from the factory?
