If the suspension has logged a fault, you will have to use diagnostics to clear it before the EAS starts working again. Water in the electronics behind the N/S trim in the boot can also cause problems.

got the auto lecky booked for tomorow but would needing the code deleted be the cause of the lights all being out on the suspension control pannel

yep, lights out on control panel means its logged a "hard fault" which needs diagnostics to reset it.

might be time for you to treat yourself to some kit... save calling out those expensive sparkys :p

BEWARE !

If and when you "wake-up" the EAS system it may send full pressure to your new air bag.

Have you inspected the old air bag and determined why it burst in the first place ?

If it has simply burst with no visible wear or weakness then go carefully.

Live data would be my method of determing potential faults

Got this sorted now the auto leky charged me £35 to delete about twelve codes that was stored so happy days and thanks for replys

Ye not to sure I didnt ask him I was to excited that it was all sorted and I wasnt have to buy a new compressor or somthing worse I do rember him saying somthing about emmisions sensor and immobiliser will ask monday see if he can remember I do no that he couldnt get rid of the inactive suspesion untill he deleted some other codes

I get an Immobiliser Fault Message logged on mine...can't remember the exact wording but something about a missing code or rolling code mismatch or something like that....

Also I get Bank 2 Lambda Upstream Maximum signal fault (or something like that) too....

With no CEL/MIL lamp....so could just be a spurious code logged....
