I have Hankook AT tyres, centre diff lock, raised axle breather and a snorkel. I have not truly been off road in it yet and I have had it 2 years almost!! I also have a Hawkeye for diagnostics which is handy.
I went to Yarwell in my old Frontera and had lots of fun, until I got stuck wheel deep in mud and engine cut out!! Had 3 discos trying to tow me out with no luck. Had to be winched out with another diso anchoring him, took a can of wd40 and an hour to get the engine going!!
And within 2 weeks, failed alternator, starter motor and battery!!!!

oh dear sounds painful lol, there was a disco in my group today with some bfg tyres, winch bumper and i went the same places he did, think its quite grippy at yarwell

Only had a short time there first thing. But it was good, really pleased with the traction control.
The only damage was to the side step when I came down one of the steep decents that had a ledge on it, oops. I was meant to avoid that bit. Just proves that you need to acess before hand!!!!

i didnt make it there today clash of agenda's , ie misses, lol, think of damage to the side step as an excuse to fit rock sliders lol

I want rock sliders, winch bumper, steering guard and diff guards. But the plan is to get an older 200 or 300 tdi I can just jave as a toy!!
