we came up the big hill out of Dover port in Kent doing 130, it was only a 4 speed gbox, (column shift had to hold it in gear or the bugger would jump out).

now your talking my language.i did my time at a main ford dealership.that would have been a 1600cc 5 bearing crank.twin 40 dcoe webbers.if you had the original engine in it that would have been the 1500cc 3 bearing mains then.very poor engine for tuning.

Ok decided to take the projector kit away and got a set of 2011 Wipac Quadoptics lights and h4 High Intensity Discharge bulbs H.I.D with 35w ballasts still 6000k.The bulbs I got have a reflector on bottom so the light points up into the top of the reflector thus points down at the road and doesn't splatter everywhere and has the proper beam pattern.Hope this satisfies the die hard fender lovers lol.

Good luck. And should you hit me whilst uninsured I hope you pay more attention to your health insurance than the legality of your vehicles, as my wife is particularly vindictive.
