Bought this a couple of weeks ago but fitted it yesterday.

I know there are other ways around starting a defender, but I have to admit it was very easy to fit, and It is nice to know you can't start it with a hammer and a screw driver now!

Who has fitted one?

If it wasn't for being cautious with the 'trial and error' trimming of the cowl I think it would be only a 15 min job, but by the time i'd found some sand paper, a file etc probably took 45 min.

Have you broken off the shear bolt yet? I've read of people leaving it on.

I sheared the bold....

No pics I'm afraid, but I can honestly say you don't need any, save for the upper plastic cowl - I should of taken one of that as the image one their pdf printout I had was a little poor.

I'll see what I can do, but don't let it put you off doing it, as it isn't hard....

I used a very coarse piece of rolled up sand paper on the lower cowl to enlarge the whole in the end. It proved quicker and nearer than a file, and it didn't feel like I was going to snap it any point!

The roll of sand paper will open up and try to expand, meaning you sand the edges of the circle evenly without really trying.

Having looked at that I opened for the kiltech, the kiltech surrounds the whole steering column and not just the ignition barrel, just my opinion, in sure that this one does the job too

If ya bought it you must know how much you paid???

I feckin hate peeps that buy ****e then refuse to say what they paid for it What fooking difference does it make???

I'm not saying how much I paid because I don't know, my dad bought it
