An yes I know one bit is a plastic rule  .

It was found near the hinges and check strap on the front nearside door, does not appear to be damaged in anyway.

looks like a drain tube. the end is split like that to allow water out - but stop muck going up.

its either that - or some weird sex object

Looks like a drain plug of some description. The airbox on me 90 has a larger version on it so water will drain out but not come back up very easily.

I put the piccies up,

an no I dunt want to see T5 on the job

If as suggested its some sort of drain tube, what up inside the back end of the front wing would need drainin?????????????????????????????

cummon DV - its a Rangie ffs - its most likely a snifferdog built in chemical toilet or summat:rolleyes.

Its from your sunroof drain I believe. See Rave wsm part 2, page 384. (or section 76, page 68).

I remember seeing it when I was looking how to fix my sunroof cos it didn't shut proper. That was about 6 months ago and its still broke!!

Cheers Russ,

That pic on pg 68 shows it exactly :) . Will try to put it back tonight, assuming the end of the tube is still there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
