Quick update, I managed to find a workshop which had just invested in the latest autologic diagnostic kit covering all LR's, cost him about £12000!!! Anyway plugged it in and came up SAS sensor fault, so got a new one for a X5 (BMW parts much cheaper than LR here) fitted that and a new ABS sensor (previous owner had a new strut fitted and I suspected the sensor may be dodgy) cleared the faults programmed new SAS and all seems fine, time will tell?? Only thing now is central locking not working off the fob, any ideas anyone before I start tAking things apart???
