About as wrong as you can get.
Diesel in a petrol is fine, if anything it lubricates the bores, it'll just run badly.
Petrol in a Diesel can be bad as Diesel is a lubricant so can cause damage to the pump and injectors and rubber seals not designed for petrol, more so on modern Diesels.
