Just the roof, and might do the mirrors, I fancy something chav, the paint has faded on the roof at the front real bad, makes it look like poo, so going to put wrap on it, black (RR is Oxford Blue) in matt or a silk, cost would be about £90 cheaper than paint, should last about 7 years, worth a go I think?

Only £90 more to have it done properly in paint? Paint would last 15 - 20 years? I'd go paint. But I like to try and keep it reasonably original.

DIY dont look like its too complicated, might do the wing mirrors as well in carbon

Have you thought of this?

The Rangie is his bling car. When he's being serious he's got the Series. Lovely example too.

I think that you still have to do all the prep work to ensure a good finish and only if thats right does wrapping work. If you are going to all that trouble, you may as well paint it.

I dont mind doing the prep, I would still have to do it even if I sprayed it, I would still DIY it anyway, satin or matt is a very easy paint to spray on, and even more so when its on a flat surface

Yes, this is what I am saying, if you do most of the prep, i am sure that you could get it painted at a good price. the value of a paint job is the prep

Call Paul in Langley . . . . Take the car for him to look and get a cash quote for painting it properly. He's very good, and reasonable prices.
