Along with my friend, I run a small car dealership (I barely even consider it work, just something to keep me sane) and this morning I picked up a 1991 Defender 110 2.5 Diesel, white in colour and in alright condition. No dents or anything, just a bit dull and scratched.
With some polishing it would come up pretty good.
Mechanically it is perfect, despite having 135,000 miles on it, but I know myself those old Defenders aren't worth much.
So, I was thinking - If I put some chunky tyres, a snorkel, and a few other off road things on it, would it increase the value by a bigish amount ?
Before you say it - I'm not keeping it for myself! It is tempting, but then it is tempting whenever I get a Landy in, but I've learned that even though I could afford it, my wife would never forgive me if I brought another car home, sadly.
