the problem with people like that is that there is no reasoning with them. You end up being the one who gets grief when you try and shake some sense into them . They should be made to take a retest or some sort of highway code test again
I wouldn't even try reasoning with that sort. Now I am sans warrant cards, I would just phone the police. Taking the keys out of the guy's vehicle would not have helped anyone. As well as possibly escalating the incident and commiting theft. He would also have been responsible for the vehicle being an obstruction until recovery could be arranged.
Don't need to assume mate, the guy states the signage on the gantry and it can be seen in the footage
