I bought my Disco about a year ago now, and since then have done various bits and bobs to it. There are a few things left to do.

I don't have tonnes of dosh to chuck at it, but as I save up/buy second hand bits, I tend to fit them with the help of my mechanic mate.

Now, I'm no mechanic, but would anyone be interested in reading a thread about repairing/up-grading a hard-working and slightly knackered 300tdi Disco?

This won't be anywhere near as in-depth as JC1, or Ayresie's rebuild threads. But it may be of some entertainment to some.

Sounds like it's pitched at my level - I'm in a similar position but with a defender - would love to hear about it.

Plenty of pic's always go down well :)

Most of the work has/will be done on my drive with just a domestic tool kit.

Phil, my mechanic mate lends me his knowledge in return for beer or tea!

There is lots of swearing (usually), but hopefully someone else will enjoy reading about how a "normal" person goes about working on their Landy.

If you want simple bumper designs as long as you can weld ill send you a design similar to the one I've got in the disco section atm

Yes, interested. All fixy threads are welcomed. Don't be shy in posting mistakes or asking what may seem like simple questions, we all do.

Yes bud, put the pics up.

Ive decided to do my next one on a budget. :D

Righto.

The masses have spoken:D

I'll start from the beginning, probably in the Disco section.
It will start from the day I picked the thing up until now.

Can't guarantee masses of photos of the early stuff, but now I'm doing this I'll take more as I go along.
