If only, the same designer who works at Ford was hired by JLR to make the new range of RRs. No doubt his work will filter its way down the whole JLR marquee.Oooh that was in an episode of new girl I think, looks real nice inside!
Wonder if its a rebranded rangey
The 2011 Explorer had the design first.
Quite modern Range Rover like until you get to the back, then it gets a bit van-like for my tastes.
I don't hate it though. I can see it doing very well in the US, which is presumably where it's designed for. Mind you, I quite like Chevy Surburbans, so draw what conclusions from that you like.
Oh yeah, there was a famous video from the Chicago Autoshow of one getting stuck in about 1" of sand at the Ford stand. It was a test track they designed to show off how capable the Explorer was. It even has terrain response similar to what you get in RRs. I do wonder how closely JLR/Tata are working with Ford. Ford did make the TDv8 just for the L322. That makes it quite an expensive unit given how few RRs sell, making an engine from scratch isn't cheap.I quite like that
Bet its ****e off road though

That would be ok too if they loose the draining board effect from the doors and put abit of an angle on the rear
