I did see that mate :), I'll try the PU - see how it works but I know it might not be a cure all.

It will let too much engine harmonics through, trust me, I did much trial and error, eventually ditching composite designs for all silicone ones, still going strong 6yrs later.

Plus not all tie bar bushes or gearbox mounts are the same diameter across MG, Rover and LR range.
49mm is a figure that springs to mind for larger tie bar bush????

sorry to dig up an old thread but what did you use to do the cuts in the poly bush my big bush has play in it was going to order a bush but need to make sure i can sort the groves out in it first

Tried those yellow bushes and they are to hard get to much vibration off them, but at the time I did have trouble with the rear diff mounts also so may try them again

Anyone know where I can get the bushes - both the large one & the small one? I rang powerflex & they told me they don't do em

Cheers
Simon

Thanks for that - sadly the small bush got a bit mashed when the bolt through it worked its way out so I need to replace it.

I am still on UKCAF but I haven't been doing any admin over there for a while due to having been rather unwell for a while - getting better though :)

Cheers
Simon

I'll look out the smaller bush for you ;)
I've not been on UKCAF for a few years now after I got dragged into something I'd rather been kept out of. Never mind, that's life I guess. I still have my beautiful WW equipped XS20.
Give me a couple of days and I'll find a bush supplier for you, hope you get well soon ;)
