Nothing at all......dunno what all the fuss is about with rave anyway, not a great deal of use with an old bus like a disco 1 anyway.

Shirley that depends on the age . like there are two different haynes manuals...........LOL.

Cheers

Nothing wrong with it wotsoever, I’ve been using it and thank you for it!

I just wanted an actual physical object that can’t go flat and doesn’t need internet connection and the likes. I’m not up on any of these computer/online modern ways at all, I don’t know wot to look for or where to find it, I don’t even have a computer and just borrow my lasses iPad as and when, and I have the luxury of been able to only need to send about 10 emails a year and have no love or need for how things are nowadays. I just wanted some kind of complete manual that includes the 300, r380 and lt230 on top of the usual but I don’t know wot is best or how the Haynes manual compares to a lr one etc etc

I can sympathise with that, I would rather have a paper copy in front of me anyday.

Thanks, I just don’t know about or trust most stuff these days

So Is there any way I can save the link to the manual that’s in this thread to my phone somehow, just so it’s easier to go on it without needing to come in here first

Cheers

You’re have to get yourself a smart phone to do that, why clog up the phones memory when u can just Google or download and save to the Cloud and access on any device.

Ok thanks

I won’t be getting an iPhone tho I do know ha. I wasn’t really thinking of downloading it I just didn’t know if there’s an easy way to just pop straight on to that link for a quick look if I want to instead of needing to sign on here then find it but if not then no probs

Thanks

Depending on device and browser, you should be able to save it a bookmark or favourite .... ....

That sounds like the kind of thing I was meaning...so how to? Bare in mind I don't even know how to put a link up haha

Towsey

Haha thought not.ive got a Huawei

So I've just tried going on the link to the manual on this thread from my phone but it won't let me just look at it like I can on my lasses iPad, I have to download it

Android then you will need an app. Check Play store for Bookmark, link saver apps and take one that suits u sir.
Or get an Apple device and bookmark using Safari

Ooo sir thank you sir!
If I don’t know I go and find out, so looked into the apps that I have on my Android phone other than coffee shops and fast food, music and national rail apps that I use often I found one I don’t use called Docs, so all I had do do is copy a link that’s been posted in a Forum and after opening the Docs app open a new document gave it a title, then pasted the link I previously copied.

Any further link can be included in the original document title or a new document opened on give separation .
Again what suits U sir. :)

Any serious stuff that I need is held on my IPad backed up on laptop and office desktop :D

That’s really helpful and much appreciated

Turns out the misuses brother knew a way aswell, go on said link or page then press the star button in the menu and save as bookmark, only thing is with this I still have to download it to my phone rather than just being able to look thru it like I can when I open it on the iPad. It’s only about 12mb apparently but the phone is about full but...?

Thanks again

No problem Sir
Google like Apple have cloud storage space that is free, but exceed their allowances then u will pay, nevertheless click the links and then download manuals to the cloud U choose, U will still have space to photos and other stuff...

happy new year :D and on to the next one:)

Yep all sorted thanks, downloaded it to my phone so can look at it without tinterweb now

So wot is the difference with rave and where would I be able to have a look at that?

Rave is just the name given by Land Rover for their very comprehensive workshop manuals originally published for the trade as shown in the links.
