If I was given it free I would need the £4.5K to 'repair' it to look like the vehicle in the last picture.

This is a great example of how we Brits live in a free country where people can be as stupid as they wish.

He should be listing it on eBay US of A - they would love it.
 
It reminds me of a poor man's pimp daddy RR, didn't sell enough drugs or play football well enough to get the rangie so settled for a freelander instead
 
I looked at this 'thing' again.

Actually the guy has done a pretty good job of the 'facelift', and the interior.

He just got carried away.

Some bar-steward sold him the wrong wheels and vents and he forgot to put the spare-wheel mount back on.

The concept of the rear number plate being some sort of 'air-brake' needs a little more development too.

Ha ha.
 
Sort of 'modification' that only serves to alienate Freelanders even further from main stream Land Rovers owners. More money than sense this guy obviously?

On a positive note, I like the 'concept' of a flat tailgate, but the bootspace being as small as it already is, doesn't make it a practical reposition of the spare wheel does it?

Nevermind, 'to each his own' as my old Granny used to say......
 
Sort out the rear numberplate and put proper wheels on like some 18's from the Freelander Sport and it would look ok :)
 
The cars up in Blackpool, I wonder if it's the same lad who tarted up the white 3 door and white 5 door, both had a black bonnet and roof, that were posted about on here.
The colour of the coolant header tank looks a bit grim.

That kinda sums it up though - the condition / state of the engine is of no importance to the people who tart things up like this.

My engine-bay is pretty clean - but the outside is usually filthy.

I have different priorities - as I suspect many folks on here have.
 
Thats the second one on ere in a few weeks. Same boot door design. Other one was bright green. Don't like the look of either of em. :(
