Just spent a week in Scotland, with my landy........it was bloody brilliant!

Hoping to move up there soon, I now know (well actually I already knew, from the moment I left the forecourt!) that I have the perfect vehicle!

To remember that in Aberystwyth Cambrian Motors......I went in to buy a Defender (with cash, I hasten to add) and they spent an hour, telling me I did not want a defender!.....and could not stop going on how bad they are in every way! (I am a woman.....and I know exactly what I want!)

I just wonder if they have ever actually driven one?????
(I then went to Shrewsbury to get mine!) sometimes you have to NOT shop locally!

Why on earth would they put off a buyer and lose a sale:doh:, I bet they were trying to push you into buying a Freelander 2 thinking you're a mere woman that would not need a Defender!

Good on ya for sticking to your original decision:clap2:, why not email the dealership/salesman & remind them of their lost sale

cambrian are crap and they charge £85 an hour labour .... my local charges £25 in the village ...
