Just seen the exhaust guard n ladder in this months! Awesome well done

Thanks mate :D had a couple of companies on the blower the past few days wanting to stock our products and use them on demo vehicles, so all being well things will hopefully start moving better

That sounds really good! How bout better expedition type roof rack, with light bracket jerry can fittings etc?

I'd need to get myself a 5dr to work on then lol, or an SD rack to copy the basic shape from, probably easier and cheaper to get a 5dr
Ny nephew has a 5 door safari rack hes selling on for about 350..
Few ideas,
thin chequer double din mount to fit it under heater controls (like i did)

False floor for the commercial in chequer(made mine from ply) with tool drawers gotta be a market for that can send pics if you want.

perhaps this is just me but id like the grill(from early ones thats removable) with built in spots..
How much involved in fitting the lift kit?

Open to all ideas!

For fitting the lift kit, just need to drop each strut in turn, bolt to the top and re fit (making sure you have the extra height on the jack/axle stands to cater for the extra height once the wheels are put back on)
Couple of camber pins for the front is advised too

I think that could be overcome easily by making to suit different sizes or designing like my cycle carrier that also sits on the tyre and uses it like a wedge in a hole, part of it could be made adjustable to suit any wheel.
Or even one that went on before the spare?..
Spose making it not nickable would be the hurdle..

Couldn't fit before the spare wheel, wouldn't get enough turn on the nuts before they nipped up.

The idea is good, but unless there's a lot of flex in the shape, you won't get it to fit universally, and if there's a lot of flex in the shape, then its not very strong.
There are so many variations in tyre size it would be prohibitive to make so many different versions!

On another note, not too keen on the ratchet strap style fitting to the tyre too, too easy for it to spin round and lose your footing

Yep I agree with the ratchet part, altho a good one does go really tight rotting would be more an issue if left on for any time.
Ive got an idea in mi d ill doodle it when i get 5..

what about something bolted on the spare wheel carrier? that might work...
the steps would have to be on the left side so that the tailgate can be opened
