I have a freelander 2 lr2 that wont start and the dash don't light up ,the key fobs open the doors and everything works apart from starting ,the battery is new adjust over 2 weeks old the starter is good ,also tried the basics of every fuse checked extra earth straps ,a code reader returns a code of p1259 ,the steering lock is also on ,could this all point to the dash key port as I just cant figure out the fault ,I live in spain and the car is essential as the roads are crap and living in a village far from town , the only problem I have had with the car was a battery change as in the recent cold here the old battery just gave up after the battery change it worked fine covering many miles ,then yesterday went to start it and nothing, give me back my 110 anyday
