Hi guys,
My 2002 1.8 petrol freelander dosent starts all of sudden. i did start this morning and i went out to the shop and came back to the car i wont start. got it started with easy start and came home. it doesnt start again.
took the throttle body out and clean. then it started for a min and died.
when ignition on there 's a funny noise from throttle body.
please help.

Maybe a trapped wire ? The noise sounds, (no pun intended), like something is arcing and shorting out, may pay to have a look for burnt bits

its still cranks but wont stats

my knackered Idle Air valve made that noise when the ignition was on, its right next to the throttle body
