Hello

Just tried starting my P38 and it is just turning over and not firing, was fine yesterday. Just noticed a warning light has flashed up saying "Traction Failure". It doesn't say much about it in the hand book. Could the not starting and this light be connected?

Many thanks for you help!

Usually an indication of low voltage. Could be your battery dropping with all the cranking.

It sounds like the codes have altered between the engine ecu & becm.
Was the vehicle behaving correctly right up to this non start situ?

The traction control could be a secondry issue & could sort itself out once started.

Traction light is almost certainly due to the low battery due to cranking
Often get that and abs fault down to battery
Best place to start is get your battery on charge and tomorrow check fuel is getting to the pump by lossening the clear pipe that goes to the pump then turn ignition on see if fuel comes out
