Hi guys,
Rangerover got an EAS fault, it's dropped to its lowest setting and now won't move! Is this normal? Anyone any ideas?
Cheers
Mark
I almost fell over backwards with the amazing level of detail you have gone into with your post, unfortunately my crystal ball is in the shop for polishing so we will all need a bit more info to work on....
Car won't move or EAS??
Diagnostics is first step , obviously, to find out why the thing has dropped to the bumps...
Do you have the four lamps lit and 35mph warning on dash??
Yes, all lights lit and speed warning on dash. After parking up it goes into gear but won't move? Got me beat?
How long has it been parked up?? Could it be the transmission brake shoes have rusted to the brake drum?? or the pads rusted to the discs??Yes, all lights lit and speed warning on dash. After parking up it goes into gear but won't move? Got me beat?
Highly unlikely as the two systems on the P38 are totally separate...Just spoken to a p38 specialist, seems to think its a EAS that has caused a problem with the electrics on the transfer box and that's why I have no drive!
Fuse 11 under drivers seatYou haven't been playing around and putting fuses into every empty fusebox slot have you?

So what was the problem...not posting the solution renders the point of the forum useless as it help no one!All sorted, all faults cleared and back on the road, my wallet not that badly beaten either

Couldn't really have been a lot else.
He might have left a wheel on each axle jacked up.
Not if he has traction control.
