Hey all... having a bit of a problem with my sisters 90...

Basically, we have been rebuilding it with a new galv bulkhead and some other jobs, so it sat in storage for a while... but when we started it up and put it into gear it will not move.

Tried all different transfer box settings to no avail.

So we thought the clutch must have went, so 9 hours later a new ap-driveline clutch was installed, although the old one was fine it turned out.

Did it work?

Nope... but the car did creep forward ever so slightly before stopping.

It's as if the clutch wont engage fully.

Any ideas what to try next?

Cheers :)

Check if the prop shafts are both turning. If they are it's drive shafts/cv joints/diff. If not it is gearbox/transfer box

prop shafts aren't turning... but I know the gearbox and transfer box are operating correctly because if you turn the prop shaft while in gear, the input shaft on the gearbox turns.

Check the clutch fork and check that when you press the peddle the slave cylinder moves and the clutch fork.

okay in the end it turned out to be a bad/seized slave cylinder

Brand new out of the box as well (no prizes for guessing the brand)
