hi, hope someone out there can help. got a freelander with it's own brain.
it won't start after being locked on the key or central locking. this seems to be an intermitant problem, but is none the less
it's driving me nuts, never mind the barking dog that thinks he's going home (wrong) it's a long walk. any ideas PLEASE

re set the immobiliser, a series of turns with the key in the driver door lock will cure that i think?

have tried that with doors open ,doors closed. the only thing that i have noticed is that it seems to be when back window has been open. it did start after 2 hours and back firing central locking the other day

Hi Ang, go to the Freelander section and do a search "intermitant starting problem" this has been covered aleready, good news cheap and easy fix all being well Good luck.

thanx for the help have got the info, will pass it onto he who sorts. sounds cheap enough to try. will take it out of the dogs pocket money if he does'nt shut up.
