if everything dies when you turn key for start then i would think you have a bad battery cable connection or bad earth, the earths i found to be a problem are where the battery and engine earths join at the chassis.
theres 1x 8mm headed bolt holding them both onto the chassis, make sure its tight, if it cures the fault remove it completely and clean all the mating surfaces for a better conection as dirt n stuff would have got in.

remove keys from ignition so you dont get locked out!

You can do a quicky on the earth, just get a jump lead from the battery to the engine. you can also do this with the live, and it saves time, of course you take the live to the starter. And I'm asuming your vehicle is negative earth. But that's easy to check, which lead on the battery goes to the body.

I have also seen the lights dim right down if the starter is stuck, sometimes a sharp tap with a hammer on the side of the casing free's it, or a rock back with the vehicle in gear to turn the engine. Failing all these you will have to take a live to the starter if you can get into it with a jump lead and short it across from this to the smaller connector which energizes the solonoid. If it doesn't go then give it a few taps then failing that it's a starter off.

Doubt it's the alarm system because the lights are dimming and that means it's sending current to the starter, I guess if alarm then nothing would happen.

i can get the starter to crank by presing the starter relay but will not fire i have also not got my engine manegment light on dash when ignition is on hope this helps

Did your battery drain right down or something, im guessing it did as you say you have fully charged it??

If you havent got the check engine light showing when the ignition is turned on you will need someone to hook up the old computery whizz machine (Faltmate/Rovacom/Autologic/Testbook) and make the engine management ECU relearn the correct security code from the BeCM.

You can try all the other tests in the world but unless those codes match and the check engine light comes on then the thing wont start. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :( Hopefully you can get someone who does mobile diagnostics to come out and sort you out, its literally a 2 minute job that all.

thanks for the good news .no my battery is only a couple of weeks old it is still fully charged it was working fine the day before just when to start and nothing but all dash lights come on can hear petrol pump but when i turn the key the hvac heater lights go out as to the radio goes off but when key released all come back on but engine not cranking do you think the eka code will work thanks again

they charged me 20 pound but now i have tried to put my radio code in and it will not let me enter code just showing 4 lines any ideas
