my old lightweight sits lower on rear off side spring ,do i loosen both sides & re set both or try & adjust one ?

I'll dig out my LW parts book tomorrow. I got my new ones made by Jones Springs and didn't actually ask him that question.

Could check the lower leafs. And see if they’re cracked which would drop them however don’t think you can buy them

The lightweight has the same 88" chassis dimensions as Standard 88", Military rear cross member is the only difference.
So your spring choice is vast, parabolic' springs have come down in price, but standard spec multi leaf springs are cheaper still.
So if its listing, sagging springs or broken leaves likely,

The 1/2 ton, air portable was fitted with different springs to the civilian models. Jones sell them. Standard civvy springs will fit, and parabolic, so your choice.

some on ebay dsl or dls says for lightweight . they dont have to be parabolic .wont make a difference where this one goes . the spring is probably shot. But i did wonder if the springs were handed to compensate for portly pilots & fuel & possibly put back other way before i had it !
