I have an Ex MOD FFR 12/24v 1992 defender 90.
I have the Merlin documents and army reg and know it was 5th AB BDE Combat reg, London Reg and 1st Irish reg.
How would I know if it were a Wolf?
would it say on the documents?
I think the chassis is re-inforced but there's no wheel mount on the left side.

If it’s the one in your avatar then You haven’t got a wolf. Also they didn’t come in until 1998 and yours is a 1992 (same as mine) Sounds just like a bog standard army Land Rover to me.

What engine do you have? Post some photos.

A Wolf is purely 24v and the model description will have XD in it somewhere.

Nice history by the way.

I have a vehicle almost the same as your except mine is 00KK53 - they were probably out of the same factory batch. Mine is bog standard army and not a wolf either.

Hi, it would also have ‘HD’ in its designation for ‘heavy duty’. Wolves are significantly different from the older TUL/TUM’s, including in price. Easy signs are 1998/99 manufacture, 300tdi with r380 box, defender seats, internal front roll cage, Donaldson air intakes on both wings (unless fitted with snorkel), p38 reinforced rear axle instead of Salisbury, front steering protection plate. There are many other differences but these are visually more obvious.
