I do them the Mo way,easy.
What do you jack against? I tried under the rear cross member and the landy just went up and the bead remained unbroken. I even tried under the garage door lintel and all that happened was cracks appeared in my brick work! Gave up after that and used a tyre fitter!

I have always been successful using the front bumper, never had one not come off, sometimes needs a couple of tries as you rotate the wheel but never failed. One of the HGV fitters at my old work used to break the bead using an heavy old piece of angle iron and a sledge hammer!
If you only break the bead it is difficult to paint the inner edge of the rim that tends to rust against the tyre which is why i removed them completely.
