twice, and never again!

I wasnt including you in that james btw

But I can if you feel left out :p lol

I think youre kidding yourself if youre trying to run the v8s cheap.

I say bite the bullet and stick with it or bite the bullet and fit a diesel. Hell yes they are cheaper to run, particularly knocking about and/or on veg oil.

mine LPG and find it fine and its alot cheaper than fuel 69.9 per litre not tried towing with it yet but i get good MPG. and i cheat by rolling down hill lmao :)

I bought a nice 3.9 and gassed it. The car, refurb, and lpg conversion cost me 4K. It is a great vehicle and people with new RR,s stop and ask about it. If you allow for deprecciation as well as day to day running costs it is cheaper than a TD5 or D3. V8 LPG is possible if you acknoweldge that LR,s are not as cheap as a Nissan Micra to run

I often get 18-22 mpg out of my 3.9 with a webber/edelbrock 500 fitted. If your after power and economy you can fit 3L BMW TDI (nice engine, smooth and powerful mid 30s MPG if I remember correctly) or Lexus 4.3 V8 (In the process of this now hoping to get 300+ BHP & high 20s MGP). Neither are the easiest conversion but neither would a 2.0L pinto....
