does anyone have a wiring diagram on how to remove the voltage reg on a series 2a, i have replaced the petrol engine with a perkings 2ltr. the battery is showing 13.8v with no load and 13.3 with lights on but the charge light stays on and gets brighter if i rev the engin but the headlights dont get brighter and the battery stays on 13.3 if you can make head or tale of what is happening please help.

Also check that the contacts in the Reg have not become welded together.

thanks both but i cant check inside the reg its a sealed unit the landy is ex military if that matters. 1963. all the manuels show the ones that you can open and adjust but not this one.
