As a new Land Rover owner, can I extend this query? I would like to know what those switches to the left of the dash are for (my 1990 Discovery is a LHD, don't know if that makes a difference). It's a well-driven work horse, so half the stuff probably doesn't work, but the switches are there!
On this bank of four switches, the top left is the rear demist (doesn't work, but the lines in the window are there!) and next to it is the rear fog, which does work. Below are two more with similar fog light-type symbols. Any idea what they are for? I'm guessing maybe front fogs for one of them (hasn't got any, but might find some wires ready under the bumper if it's had some) but can't think of any reason for the other one.
On the right of the dash are more switches that are blank, for optional extras mine never had I suppose. So I presume the ones on the left would have been connected to something as they have symbols on them.
What I want to achieve is a switch for front fogs, and a separate switch for extra roof spots for offroading. (In Finland, you can only have one pair of auxiliary main beam lights, and even they are restricted to 17.5 ref, so I can't just jump them off the full beam switch). Any ideas? Also, are the spare switches that have nothing on them usable?
:drum:
