Does anybody have a wiring diagram that shows the the 4 wires going to the fuel pump:(1)white/purple, (1)black/green and (2)solid black? I would just like to know where these 4 wires connect to.

I would think all models that have these 4 wires at the fuel pump would be the same or similar diagram although I have a 96 Discovery SD, 4.0L, V8, Petrol.

Hello, don't know if you'll see this after all this time but I wonder if you ever received the information you required as I'm looking for the same thing, or very similar - I have purchased a secondhand Freelander 1.8 Mk1 K-series, was in my element for the two weeks 'he' was running! Was running fine, I parked up, didn't use 'him' for two days, got in, 'he' tried to start but didn't. Breakdown gentleman tested battery & said it was full ('tis now flat!) & suggested it may be fuel pump problem - I'm currently mulling over what to do, however, in the meantime, I & my son decided to take a look at the fuel pump accessibility under the rear seats - now we're questioning the wiring, hence my wondering if you ever received any information in respect of your posting.

Sorry if this is long-winded. I hope you received the information you requested - now I hope I can find pictures of the wiring as, to me, what I & my son found does not look like professional workmanship at all! Good job wonderful Landy decided 'he' needed a break from running!

but he was looking for a Discovery, not a Freelander

wiring on yours looks fine...... might need re connecting, but colours look ok, just a dodgy tape job.
