Hi all,
Got a problem on my 90, the wipers work ok but when they reach either end of the arc they overshoot the screen. I've just bought some Silbade silicone blades and I don't want to knacker them too soon. Is there an adjustment somewhere? Any help would be areciated.

take them off the spindle and move them back around a couple of splines. how bad is it?

You're lucky, mine barely reach the edge of the screen but stop quite some distance from the bottom!

Sorry, I have no answer for this, but will be watching your thread to see if someone else does, 'coz what works for you then the reverse might work for me.

wot Griff said - if yu dont have full travel, then the mechanism is knackered - fix/replace.

It sounds like there is excessive play in the mechanism. I thought there was an adjustment on the motor to take up this play, which is usually in the wiper motor gearbox?

Just re-adjust them by removing and replacing them. Shouldn't be too difficult!

Oh fair enough, didn't read that properly - yes sounds like slack in the mechanism then.

Might just be the ferules are knackered and the wipers are flyin' past where they're meant tae be. Failin' that, have a look in here ...

Nearly furgot... check to see the grub screw holdin' the ferule on is tight furst

Hi all sorry I started a thread then went on holiday.

Thank you for your responses, all very helpfull ta. Busterbus, that would appear to be the fix, thanks for all the pictures I wouldn't have had a clue without them. Job for a weekend day when I've got some patience!!!

Had a similar prob with my 300, socket on the wiper arm was worn so floppy on the drive spindle. Shimed it with a bit of beer can (Zen rules) and all ok
