Hi,
I'm a new member and have been scanning this forum and others for a solution to my wiper problem. The intermittent wiper function doesn't work at all. I have changed the multifunction unit checked all fuses and relays and changed the switch all with no joy. The wipers work on normal, fast and down for one wipe. I'm not sure if they should wipe when the wash is pulled on but if they should that doesn't work either.
Any suggestions on what the problem is would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

The only thing left is the wiring so from the switch connector check the continuity of three wires to the MFU connector, they will be a white/light green, light green/green and light green/black.

Other than that don't know, both multi-function units faulty is very unlikely.

I have changed the switch twice now and put in a new green relay in the drivers kick panel as well as changing the multifunction unit. Don't think there are any other relays even though I think defenders have an amr3841 I think which controls the intermittent wiper. I believe the MFU controls the wipers on Discovery 300s unless someone knows better?
