I am hoping this is the last issue to discuss after my rebuild.
My wipers do not have the correct range of movement. See the videos below, when not on the screen they have the full range, but as you add resistance (put the pipers down) the range of movement decreases until it is very little with both wipers on the screen
I have not tested in the wet yet that is my next step to see if with less friction (wet screen) the problem improves but even if this is the case there is clearly still an underlying problem.
For reference the wheel boxes are new (an well greased), the park switch is new, and all of the wiring looms and switches are new. The rack itself (well greased), and the motor are "unknown" parts form the donor bulkhead.
I have had the motor apart already to switch the park position 180 degrees as when first fitted park was at the top of the screen not the bottom. I am assuming that the issue is to do with slack in the system somewhere as the motor is clearly working correctly. Is this likely to be the motor drive wheel or the spring rack itself? What am I looking for to diagnose and check to hopefully repair rather than replace?
