Anyone know if the splined end bit of the windscreen wiper box assembly is available separately? Its the bit that the wiper arm attaches directly to, with the little grub screw to hold it on.

The two circular top hat shaped bits in the middle of this picture...

Yep, they’re only a couple of quid each, two types to choose from so get the ones that match your spindles. Don’t have the part numbers to hand.

My LR Def 110 300tdi failed its MOT today (as did my motorbike:mad:) as the passenger wiper doesn't do a full sweep, the splines inside the wiper arm have worn, causing the arm to slip, as they do. Just ordered a new arm and thought i may as well replace the adapter as well.

Thanks everyone.

how do you get these adapters off? Tried a few Allen keys but they seem too small to not round it off. I have one adaptor that will not sit straight on the arm. thanks

When I had to do mine the answer was carefully with the dremmel!

It was a while ago when I did mine but I replaced the hex plugs with metric stainless steel bolts. I might have tapped them out to metric or they were already so, can't remember.
