Hi All,

My Wiper delay doesn't work on my 110 1992 200TDI and have been told it's the relay?
If it is where do I find the relay and what relay parts code is it?

Many thanks as always

Jonah (still loving my CSW)

What do you mean your delay doesn't work?

It sounds like your park switch is goosed to me.

I expect its the same as mine, the intermitant setting doesent work (down on wiper control), but they park fine. I would be interested to know what the problem is too.

It's the park switch

what fooking park switch and what intermittent wipe??

On older deependers like yours there is no intermittant position. Instead you flick the switch down to do a wipe. On newer ones 300tdi onwards (dunno about 200tdi's) pushing the switch down gives intermittant wipe. If the park switch on the motor fails it can lose the intermittant function.

I knew about mine can't be doing with these new fangled fancy bits though. Am a master at parking me wipers in the down position.. :D

Land Rover 1986 Dunno about later ones

Wiper stalk,

Flick down (push to make switch sprung) one single wipe and park,

Up position one Constant slow wipe,

Up position two Constant Fast wipe.

Landrover 1987,

Push down and hold no park stops anywhere on the screen

1st up slow wipe stops anywhere
2nd fast wipe stops anywhere.
