Before i searched on here i was set to buy the units WITHOUT pilot, but i see some people have purchased the units with the pilot?

I assume they are then wired in parallel to the side lights?

Any advantage in this, or shall i just do as intended, and buy the units without pilot?

Well, if im not going to wire the pilot, ill just buy the unit without the pilot! : )

My question was if there was any real advantage to running the pilot in parallel with the side lights.

(the only difference is the pilot - everything else is the same)

None, the crystals are great but no reason to change anything else.

You want coloured pilots red blue pink etc as long as sides are white mot fine
