Any chance of a link mate? **SORTED - FOUND IT**

Can i ask how you fitted it without the rollcage?

Badly! haha

I didn't want to use self tappers everywhere, it's already a bit swizz cheesey as it is. The front was easy enough to do as the door bits have velcro and the straps hold it up. Also the seat belt hole is in the wrong place, so you just need to make a hole for it.

The rears, I lined it up and marked where the bolt holes where, then got some bits of metal I had, drilled holes in them and riveted them on. Think there were about 8. Then i used the supplied bolts. Bottom I threaded some paracord along and just tied em to the front and back tub.

Then I bodged a metal tube up along the back door and used that with the straps to hold it all up. However, I now have found what part numbers the metal strap things are, so next order I'll stick them up. I also bodged a middle strap holder.

It looks alright imo, I misaligned the holes so it's a lil saggy, but i think most of them are anyway.

If you couldn't give a crap about the self tappers, then it would be really quick and simple to stick it all up. I wanted to be able to take it off easy, not that I ever have .

Winter was brutal last year.

.......I fitted a electric heated windscreen to my Series 2a last Winter, brilliant brilliant bit of kit. When I afford it I'll be fitting one to my 90 for sure

a smear of vaseline round the door seals.... :)
will stop the doors freezing shut !

no doubt just the mention of vaseline will attract some juicy comments ... :D

Anybody fitted a booster fan to defender heater system, i see a 90 on fleabay with the description as having booster fan fitted to actually blow air out vents

I'm going to diy a fume curtain (chuck up a blanket) to cut off the front and see if it helps.

Carry a bucket of grit and shovel and probably camping equipment, just incase it conks out.

i'm still yet to do that.. this year! honest, this year!

i Have a 90 300TDI,
recently fitted a new Rad, pump etc, it is up to running temp within 5 minutes of driving,
and the heater works fine.
would there still be any benefit to me fitting a rad muff..??
