And if not? They're just 5W incandescent 'puddle' lamps, prise out the lampholder from the outer edge, if you're unlucky the contacts will be corroded but probably not.
Do they shine the RR logo onto the ground? they may stay on when the door is open.Unknown to me, me Range Rover has lights on the underside of the wing mirrors - I only found this out when one vaguely lit up as I pressed the remote unlock.
Can’t get the buggers to work otherwise…
Any clues?
TIA
They don’t stay on long enough!Do they shine the RR logo onto the ground? they may stay on when the door is open.
Strange, I would have thought they would come on briefly on unlock then, would be on all the time the doorThey don’t stay on long enough!
No, that's on the L405 - the puddle lamps in the mirror housings only stay on briefly, longer if the door isn't opened. I can't remember exactly how long, I think it's around 10-12 seconds, the lamps in the bottom of the door card stays on much longer though.Do they shine the RR logo onto the ground? they may stay on when the door is open.
If not what? if the lamp has failed or half the filament is floating around, then change it. If the lampholder is corroded, change that also. And if not?
Thanks. If not what? if the lamp has failed or half the filament is floating around, then change it. If the lampholder is corroded, change that also.
